CCOPAB takes part in the second VIKING 22 planning workshop
Enköping (Sweden) - From 24 to 28 January 2022, Majoran i Rodrigo Berbert Eiras, an instructor of the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB), participated in the second planning workshop related to the multinational exercise - VIKING 22, integrating the entourage of the Land Operations Command (COTER).
The activity focused on the second round for the development of the Main Event List and Main Incident List - MEL/MIL II, which will be worked on during the Exercise, as well as during the coordination of several other VIKING 22 related actions.
The Exercise will take place between 28 March and 07 April 2022, consisting of a multinational training platform, designed to prepare military, police and civilian personnel towards UN Peace Missions. CCOPAB will participate in the Exercise during the preliminary planning and will be in the Direction of the Exercise (DIREX) during the execution of VIKING 22.
In an unprecedented way, the last edition of the VIKING exercise took place in Brazil, from 16 to 26 April 2018, when the Brazilian Armed Forces participated in the exercise, from a remote site, which operated simultaneously with the host country (Sweden) and with four other European countries (Finland, Ireland, Serbia and Bulgaria).
