CCOPAB carries out a reconnaissance for the preparation of the 13th Contingent of Operation ACOLHIDA

From 10 to 14 January 2022, a team of three instructors from the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) carried out a reconnaissance in the cities of Boa Vista-RR, Pacaraima-RR and Manaus-AM, aiming to prepare of the 13th contingent of the Humanitarian Logistics Task Force - Operation ACOLHIDA.

The instructors visited the main facilities of the operation, having the opportunity to interact with members of the 12th contingent, which has been deployed in the region since September 2021. Likewise, the team interacted with representatives of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the International Organization for Migration (IOM), among other agencies participating in the humanitarian effort.

The lessons learned and the best practices observed during the reconnaissance will be applied by CCOPAB during the preparation of the 13th contingent - troops from the Northeastern Military Command and the Northern Military Command (CMN). The training will be held in the cities of Recife-PE and Belém-PA, from 17 to 21 January 2022.
