CCOPAB instructor takes part in UN DPO training

Entebbe (Uganda) - From 23 August to 03 September 2021, MAJ Rodrigo Berbert Eiras, from the Brazilian Army, instructor at the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center - Sergio Vieira de Mello Center, took part in the UN Military Intelligence Officer Course, whose aim is to receive training to deliver a posteriori the Reiforcement Training Material (RTM) of the Military Peacekeeping Intelligence.

Under the responsibility of the Integrated Training Service (ITS), of the UN Department of Peace Operations, and held at the United Nations Regional Service Center Entebbe (RSCE), the course will provide CCOPAB with better conditions and possibilities to prepare the United Nations Staff Officers who will integrate intelligence cells in Peace Operations.

In this edition, there were attendees from the following UN Member States: Bangladesh, Brazil, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Nepal, Pakistan, Russia and Uruguay.
