CCOPAB welcomes Major General Alexandre Oliveira Cantanhede Lago - Director of Military Technical Education

Rio de Janeiro (RJ). On 28 July, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB), Sergio Vieira de Mello Center, welcomed MG Alexandre Oliveira CANTANHEDE Lago, Director of Military Technical Education (DETMIL, acronym in Portuguese) accompanied by an entourage. This activity is due to the first visit (VSE, acronym in Portuguese) as part of the Educational Supervision Program of 2021.

After military honors, there was a military formation. Then, CCOPAB officers officially saluted MG Catanhede; next, CCOPAB commander delivered a lecture on the mission, features and capabilities of CCOPAB - a military unit under the supervision of DETMIL.

Still, MG Cantanhede visited the facilities of the Joint Center (the language laboratory, monuments in memory of Brazilians who had fallen in peace missions, classrooms, auditoriums and the like).

The Director of Military Technical Education also delivered a presentation to the officers and NCOs from CCOPAB, and then he signed the book of honour. At the end of the visit, the officers from the Joint Center saluted MG Catanhede as he was leaving the unit.
