CCOPAB welcomes General Lajoia, Chief of Peace Missions/Aviation and State Police General Inspector

Rio de Janeiro (RJ). On 25 May 2021, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) - Sergio Vieira de Mello Center, a Brazilian Army Educational Organization supervised by the Department of Military Technical Education (DETMIL), welcomed, for the first time ever, Major General Flávio dos Santos LAJOIA Garcia, Chief of Peace Missions/Aviation and State Police General Inspector, from the Land Operations Command (COTER).

The purpose of the visit was to show the capabilities and characteristics of the educational military organization, which is supervised by DETMIL and linked to COTER.

After due military honors at the Main Gate, there was a military parade, an officer saluting ceremony and an institutional lecture delivered by CCOPAB Commander. Also, MG Lajoia could see the educational infrastructure of Sergio Vieira de Mello Center, especially the French Language Laboratory. Al last, MG Lajoia signed the Book of Honors of the Center.

COTER, the Department of Operational Guidance from the Army Command, is also the managerial organization of courses and training provided by CCOPAB.
