CCOPAB contributes towards the training of the Staff of MONUSCO military component commander

Rio de Janeiro (RJ) - From 03 to 07 May 2021, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center - Sergio Vieira de Mello Center - a military educational organization of the Brazilian Army and supervised by the Department of Military Technical Education - carried out the Peace Mission Traning Instructions (IPMP, acronym in Portuguese), under the guidance of the Land Operations Command (COTER, acronym in Portuguese).

IPMPs aimed at training military personnel who will hold MONUSCO Force Commander Staff positions. LTG Marcos de Sá Affonso da Costa is the Commander of the United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO).

At that time, Core Pre-deployment Training Material (CPTM) lessons were delivered to seven Brazilian Army soldiers.
