CCOPAB welcomes General Vergara, Director of Military Technical Education

Rio de Janeiro (RJ). On 30 April 2021, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB), Sergio Vieira de Mello Center, an educational military organization of the Brazilian Army, supervised by the Department of Military Technical Education (DETMIL, acronym in Portuguese), welcomed Major General Rodrigo Pereira VERGARA, DETMIL Director. The aim of the activity was to carry out the last official visit of MG Vergara to CCOPAB.

After the military parade and officers saluting ceremony, it is crucial to highlight that MG VERGARA chaired the closing ceremony of the United Nations Comprehensive Protection of Civilians Course.

At the end of the activity, MG Vergara signed CCOPAB’s book of honors and was again saluted by the officers of the Sergio Vieira de Mello Center as he left.
