CCOPAB Commander's presentation to the Joint Chief of Staff Officer from Armed Forces

Brasília (DF)-  On 15 August 2019, under the coordination of the Peace Operations Sub-chief, GEN Rolemberg Ferreira da Cunha, CCOPAB Commander, COL Marco Antônio Estevão Machado, presented a lecture on the results obtained by CCOPAB in the first half of 2019 to the Joint Chief of Staff Officer from Armed Forces, GEN (Air Force) Raul Botelho, to the Head of Joint Operations, GEN (Air Force) Carlos de Almeida Baptista Júnior. On that occasion, CCOPAB Commander highlighted the role of the Center as a tool for the projection of the Armed Forces, nationally and internationally, as well as CCOPAB's interaction with the academia

Taking advantage of this opportunity, the Joint Chief of Staff Officer from Armed Forces delivered a certificate for accomplishing the United Nations Staff Officers Course, which is delivered by UN to CCOPAB. This certification renews CCOPAB's qualification as a reference center in preparing Staff Officers from Brazil and other countries that contribute to PKOs under the aegis of the UN.

Coherent with its mission, at the end of the period under consideration, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center contributed to the preparation of one thousand two hundred and seventy-six (1276) servicemen, police officers and civilians, from Brazil and as well as from friendly nations, to work in peace and humanitarian aid operations, as it can be seen in the graphs and information below:
