Lebanese Army Command and General Staff College officers visit CCOPAB
On April 10, a Lebanese delegation composed by Major General Piloto Bassan Yassine, commander of Fouad Chehab Command and Staff College, Major General Amin El Orm, Training Director of the Lebanese Armed Forces, and Major General Bilal Al Shawa, instructor, visited the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese). The aim of the visit was to facilitate future cooperation between the Brazilian and Lebanese Armed Forces.
Colonel Machado, Commander of CCOPAB, delivered a lecture on the overarching mission of the Center and the tasks it carries out and on the participation of Brazilian military personnel in peace missions.
The delegation also had the chance to watch an instruction of the Military Experts on Mission Course and visit the monument in honor of the fallen in Haiti. General Piloto Bassan Yassine signed CCOPAB’s book of honor in the end.
