CCOPAB attends ceremony of the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights

Rio do Janeiro (RJ) - In the evening of August 08, thirteen members of the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese) attended the opening ceremony of the exhibition of the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights at Correios Cultural Center.

The exhibition, which was produced by the United Nations office in Brazil, has 30 wood engravings belonging to Brazilian artist Otavio Roth’s collection, that brings to light ideas of peace and equality, which are advocated in the document. The United Nations Information Center in Rio is in charge of the executive production of the exhibition and Isabel Roth, the artist’s daughter, is the curator.
