CCOPAB takes part in extension course on National Defense
São José dos Campos (São Paulo) – On June 27, Colonel Machado, Commander of the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese), delivered a lecture on the theme “Brazilian Participation in UN peace missions: past, present and future” in the 18th Extension Course on National Defense.
The event, which was sponsored by the Ministry of Defense along with High Education Institutions from all over the country, was attended by civilians and military. It aimed at boosting the reflection and research concerning National Defense matters, as well as the dissemination of knowledge in society.
