Delegation of the Armed Forces Social Services visit CCOPAB
On May 22, a delegation of the Brazilian Armed Forces Social Services visited the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese). The visitors are as it follows: Rear Admiral Valter Citavicius Filho – Director of the Navy Social Services; Major General (Air Force) Doctor Eduardo Serra Negra Camerini – Director of the Health and Social Services Department; Major General Selmo Umberto Pereira – Director of the Army Social Services; Quartermaster Major General (Air Force) Luiz Antônio Pontes – Deputy Director of the Air Force Management and Special Assigments Department and other officers.
The aim of the visit was to increase the interoperability concerning the Brazilian Armed Forces Social Services and to allow the visitors to learn about CCOPAB and its tasks. The officers were hosted by Colonel Machado, CCOPAB’s Commander. Following, they visited the memorial in honor of the fallen peacekeepers in the 2010 earthquake in Haiti. At the end of the visit, the officers signed the Book of Honor of the Training Center.
