Canadian Defense Attaché visits CCOPAB
On 23 February, CCOPAB received the Canadian Defense Attaché in Brazil, Captain (Navy) Réal Brisson, accompanied by Ms. Alison Grant, Minister-Counselor and Chief of the Political Section at the Canadian Embassy in Brazil. The aim of the visit was to know what activities CCOPAB carries out and also to strengthen the partnership in PKO training.
CCOPAB delivers lecture at Estácio de Sá University
On 17 February 2016, at Estácio de Sá University, representatives of CCOPAB delivered a lecture about the importance of the Brazilian participation in Peacekeeping Operations (PKOs). At the event, CCOPAB presented a historical background on the evolution of PKOs and the first participations of Brazil. It was then concluded that the use of such operations is an instrument of the Brazilian foreign policy.

UN Staff Officers Course starts at CCOPAB
On February 01, there was the beginning of the UN Staff Officers Course (EPMP, acronym in Portuguese) in which there is the participation of 07 students, all from the Brazilian Army. The course is given by the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB), Sergio Vieira de Mello Center.
