Visit to CCOPAB by the Course of Joint General Staff of the Brazilian Superior War College
On September 17, 2012 the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center (acronym in Portuguese: CCOPAB) hosted the apprentices of the Course of High Studies on Politics and Strategy – (acronym in Portuguese: CAEPE) of the year 2012.
On that event, officers from the armed forces of Brazil and friendly nations, as well as civilian authorities, visited Sergio Vieira de Mello Cultural Facility and attended an institutional presentation made by Air Force Lieutenant Colonel Salomão, Chief of CCOPAB's Doctrine Division. After that, the visitors attended one more presentation made by Army Lieutenant Colonel Moleta about the participation of Brazilian personnel in Peacekeeping Operations.
As the last part of the visit program, the apprentices attended a presentation concerning the life of Marshal Rondon, the "Marshal of Peace" in the company of Mr. Mário César Cabral Marques, the curator of Memória Civelli Produções Culturais.
