Initial Meeting for the Preparation of BRABAT 2/18
On 18 and 19 of July 2012, The Headquarters of the Military Command of the Southeastern Region of Brazil, which is placed in the city of São Paulo-SP, hosted the initial meeting for the preparation of BRABAT 2/18. This event aimed at starting the necessary coordination for the constitution of the Contingent, which will embrace military personnel from the 11th Light Infantry Brigade according to the directives issued by the Brazilian Command of Land Operations (acronym in Portuguese: COTer).
