April 19, 2012 – 364th anniversary of the Brazilian Army
April 19, 2012 celebrated the creation of the Brazilian Army.
The Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center had its own celebration for the 364th anniversary of the Brazilian Army.
A parade in honor of the event took place at the patio of the Center. The focal point of the ceremony was the reading of the Order of the Day issued by the Brazilian Army's Commander, GEN Enzo Martins Peri. The document emphasized the 364 years of existence of the Army and the pillars on which it is based: HIERARCHY AND DISCIPLINE.
The celebration continued with the practice of sports. The competitions confirmed the high level of comradeship among the military from the three armed forces who constitute the personnel serving at the Joint Center.
After the competitions, the members of the Center were gathered again during lunch at the "Espaço Adsumus" in order to celebrate the birthdays of those military and civilian personnel who were born in the months of January, February, March and April of 2012.
