Senior Leaders Seminar - fifth day
The fifth day was marked by the closing of the event; it took place in CEP and started at 9:00. Groups A and B presented their Study Cases. After that, the participants went up to Leme Fort so that the official picture of the event could be taken, having the beautiful view of the city of Rio de Janeiro as the photo landscape.
Col Brian McNaughton, from the US Army South (USARSO), thanked for the hospitality granted to the foreign committee. Major General Manoel Lopes Lima Neto, U3 of COTER (Brazilian Army unit in charge of Exercise PKO A 2011), was present at the closing ceremony of the event and handed the certificate of participation to the senior officer amongst participants, COL Schafic Nazal Lazaro, from Chile. MG Lima Neto mentioned his satisfaction up to that moment with the results obtained during the exercise. COL Pedro Aurélio Pessôa, Commander of CCOPAB, was the last authority to speak for the closing ceremony of the seminar.
After the closing ceremony, participants went to the mess hall in CEP in order to join the cocktail offered by CCOPAB.
