Brazilian military personnel in preparation for positions at the UN

CCOPAB carried out the DPKO Recruitment and Preparation Course (EPEC DPKO, acronym in Portuguese) from 29 November to 01 December. The aim of the course is to train the Brazilian military personnel to run for office in the Department of Peacekeeping Operations.

There were 14 students from the Brazilian Army including one major general, six colonels, six lieutenant colonels and one major. They were all selected by the Army Commander's Office.
First, the students were given basic instructions on the UN System. Next, they were interviewed by instructors of this Center forming a panel. The interviews were similar to the ones of the selection process.

The DPKO office is in the UN headquarters, in New York, the USA.
