CCOPAB participates in Pilot Course on CPTM in Egypt
Cairo (Egypt) - From 9-19 October, MAJ IGOR (Brazilian Air Force) participated in the United Nations Training of Trainers (ToT) Course on Core Pre-deployment Training Materials (CPTM). He is the chief of the Individual Missions' Section of the Education and Training Division of CCOPAB.
The training was carried out by the Integrated Training Service (ITS) and the Department of Peacekeeping Operations (DPKO). There were 34 (thirty-four) attendees, among civilian, military and police personnel of 24 (twenty-four) different nationalities.
The course was hosted by the Cairo Center for Conflict Resolution and Peacekeeping in Africa to familiarize the participants with the new version of CPTM, which will come into use in 2017. It is mandatory material in the preparation of all the members involved in Peacekeeping Operations under the aegis of the United Nations.
