CCOPAB carries out the Squad Leaders Course for the 25th Brazilian Contingent in Haiti
Jaboatão dos Guararapes – PE: On July 29, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) ended the Squad Leaders Course (EPCOGC, acronym in Portuguese), which took place in the 14th Motorized Infantry Battalion.
The one-week course aimed to prepare sergeants to command squads of the various platoons of BRABAT/BRAENGCOY 25. The instructions addressed issues related to the conduct of small fractions in Peace Operations. The students were given controlled practice exercises to consolidate their learning. The sergeants will support the instructions during the preparation of their platoons as knowledge vectors. They will be able to impart the knowledge acquired during the course and contribute to a high level preparation of the Brazilian troops to be deployed to Haiti.
