CCOPAB carries out UN PKO Logistics and Reimbursement Course

Rio de Janeiro (RJ) - From 23 May to 10 June 2022, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese) carried out the UN PKO Logistics and Reimbursement Course (ELROP, acronym in Portuguese), which aims at qualifying military personnel to perform functions related to logistics in UN Peace Operations.

The activity was divided into two phases: the first one, a two-week e-learning phase, and the second, a one-week onsite phase at CCOPAB. Twenty-eight military students completed the course: 19 from the Brazilian Army, five from the Brazilian Air Force, two from the Brazilian Navy and two from the Portuguese Army.

During the onsite phase, military students had the opportunity to visit the Brazilian Army Logistics Base and verify the deployment of a Medical Support Facility and visit the facilities of the Air Force Logistics Management Agency.

On 10 June 2022, Major General ALEXANDRE OLIVEIRA CANTANHEDE LAGO, Director of Military Technical Education, attended the closing ceremony of the Course when students were awarded certificates of completion.
