General Coordinator of REBRAPAZ delivers a lecture at CCOPAB

Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On 5 May 2022, Dr. Eduarda Hamman, General Coordinator of the Brazilian Peace Operations Research Network (REBRAPAZ), delivered a lecture on “Civil-Military Coordination in the United Nations (UN CIMIC): a civilian perspective” to students of the UNMO, UNSO and UNPOL courses, at the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB).

The target audience was composed of 26 future blue helmets: ten from the Brazilian Army, eight from the Brazilian Navy, four from the Brazilian Air Force, two from Brazilian State Police, and two from friendly nations (Indonesia and Namibia). The commmander and instructors of the “House of Peacekeepers” attended the lecture as well.

REBRAPAZ is formed by public and private institutions, either civilian or military, researching and teaching about peace operations; moreover, CCOPAB has been one of its full members since 2016.
